Brahyan Zurcher, ‘The Last Thing They Can Expect from Me Is a Boring Fight’
Brahyan Zurcher is fired up for his next fight, and believes fans should be as well.
Zurcher (4-0, 2-0 PFL) is a name well-known to PFL fans as he has been gravitating towards the promotion for a while now. The Xtreme Couture representative introduced himself to wider audiences with a decision victory over Scottie Stockman on the 2022 PFL Challenger Series 4 before repeating the feat against Ricardo Jimenez in August. Now, he is headlining a card for the first time in his career as he takes on David Evans on the Week 6 of the 2023 PFL Challenger Series on March 3. Ahead of the clash, Zurcher — who spent part of his camp in Mexico to prepare for the battle — is pretty sure he will put on a performance for the ages that will be rewarded with the coveted PFL contract and a spot in the 2023 Regular Season.
“The last thing they can expect from me is a boring fight. I'm never gonna bring that to the table. I'm always looking for the finish. My last two fights, I wasn't able to get a finish. I don't like rushing things, but I'm always there looking for openings, trying to go to the ground, always working, and never giving a boring fight. One of my biggest things that I go thinking of into the cage is that what I do is entertain people. They pay to go see me fight. I feel different for this fight, I have a good feeling. I've been working on a lot of different things. When I'm not in camp, what I like to do is just keep adding tools to my toolbox. Don’t be surprised if you see three, four, five different things me doing in the cage. I won't be surprised if I'm able to get the finish this time.”
