Junior Dos Santos and Tyron Woodley Round Out the Commentating Team as United Fight Alliance Brings You AFC 24

(PRESS RELEASE) – Ft. Lauderdale, FL – United Fight Alliance is proud to be partnering with Absolute Fighting Championship once again to bring you “AFC 24: Quarantillo vs. Stevens” on Friday January 29th at the Broward College Omni Auditorium in Coconut Creek, Florida. Jordan Jay will be commentating alongside former UFC Heavyweight Champion, Junior dos Santos and UFC Welterweight Tyron Woodley.

Emmy Award winning Jordan Jay Adams of United Fight Alliance will be on hand to call the action and to bring you this marquee event on the United Fight Alliance Television Network. Adams has over 28 years of experience as a television personality and has received two Emmy Nominations and an Emmy win. As a commentator, Adams has called the action for many leading MMA promotions worldwide. Adams also currently hosts two popular combat sports television shows, United Fight Alliance (“UFA”) and “Jay’s Brawl Call.”

Adams stated, “I love working with Roger Krahl and AFC. They have such a rich history and tradition in the sport. They draw upon a region in Florida that is absolutely saturated with quality fighters. That allows them to deliver predominant shows to an ever-growing fan base. AFC has had a long history of fighters who have gone on to fight in the UFC, including Jorge Masvidal, Mike Brown, Thiago Alves, Joe Lauzon, Colby Covington and Valerie Letourneau. AFC 24 will be no exception to AFC’s consistently stellar fights. At the top of the card will be Mark “The Spartan” Stevens (20-9), a Bellator and Strikeforce veteran, versus ruthless Billy “The Weasel” Quarantillo (6-1) -- both fighters vying for the call from the UFC. The fight card will also feature South Florida favorite Marcos “Parrumpinha” Da Matta, who will be facing Solon Staley, out of South Carolina.
