UFC on ESPN 38 Card, Odds

BetUS.com lists Tsarukyan as a -280 favorite for the headliner, with Gamrot as a +210 underdog. In the co-main event, Rakhmonov is favored at -450, with Magny coming back at +325.

At 25, Tsarukyan is among the most interesting up-and-coming fighters in the 155-pound division. “Ahalkalakets” is currently riding an impressive five-bout winning streak. In his latest assignment, he stopped Joel Alvarez with punches in the second frame of their UFC Fight Night 202 encounter in February. Prior, he smashed Christos Giagos via first-round technical knockout at the 2:09 mark of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night 192 in September. Tsarukyan is 5-1 in the Nevada-based promotion, with only Islam Makhachev managing to defeat his fellow Russian in April 2019.

Former Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki two-division champion Gamrot is aiming for his fourth back-to-back victory. Since joining the UFC, “Gamer” only lost to Guram Kutateladze due to a narrow split decision at UFC Fight Night 180 in October 2020. The Polish fighter subsequently bounced back with stoppages over Scott Holtzman and Jeremy Stephens at UFC on ABC 2 and UFC on ESPN 26, respectively. In his latest Octagon walkout, he forced Diego Ferreira to tap due to a nasty knee to the body at the 3:26 mark of Round 2.

UFC on ESPN 38 also features a heavyweight clash between Josh Parisian (-105) and Alan Baudot (-125), a 155-pound tilt between Thiago Moises (-260) and Christos Giagos (+200) and a bantamweight affair between Nate Maness (+550) and Umar Nurmagomedov (-900). Chris Curtis (-135) is also taking on Rodolfo Vieira (+105) in an exciting 185-pound matchup. The preliminary card is topped by a light heavyweight bout featuring Carlos Ulberg (-105) and Tafon Nchukwi (-125).
