Thanh Le Teases Superfight, Two-Division Plans if He Wins at One 160
Thanh Le has big plans for the future. Le (13-2, 5-0 One) is the current One Championship featherweight titleholder, a title he won by defeating Martin Nguyen with punches in October 2020. After that statement, the Moon College Taekwondo standout notched his first title defense with a crushing 56-second knockout of grappling ace Garry Tonon in March.
Now set to face Kai Tang in the One 160 co-headliner, Le isn’t overlooking his heavy-handed opponent, but he is open to new challenges in his future. In case of victory, Le aims to take part in a custom rules superfight similar to the one between Demetrious Johnson and Rodtang Jitmuangnon at One X in March, or move up a division and face the winner of the Christian Lee-Rae Yoon Ok clash.
