First-Hand Details from UFC 295 Training Camp: ‘Robocop’ Says Alex Pereira Will Be Hard to Take Down
Riding a sequence of five wins in his last seven Ultimate Fighting Championship bouts, Gregory “Robocop” Rodrigues is waiting on his next assignment and decided to take advantage of an opportunity by accepting an invitation from Glover Teixeira to help Alex “Poatan” Pereira for his UFC 295 light heavyweight title shot against Jiri Prochazka.
“I couldn't have a better opportunity to improve my striking skills,” Rodrigues told Sherdog’s Marcelo Alonso. “Glover is a sniper with knockout power, but at the same time, he is such a nice guy who cares about his sparring partners.
