In this exclusive video interview Sherdog Brazilian Correspondent Marcelo Alonso caught up with the legendary “Axe Murder,” Wanderlei Silva.

Helped by his son and translator, Thor, Silva talked about his contract release from Bellator MMA and gave his opinion about the new fighting scenarios with challenges between YouTube personalities, mixed martial arts fighters and boxers. The Pride Fighting Championships icon also analyzed the win of his biggest rival, Vitor Belfort, over Evander Holyfield, and challenged Belfort to “stop beating old men to face someone his own age.”

Being prepared by his father to make his MMA debut by the end of the year, Thor also talked about being a legend’s son. It is hoped that the family can appear on a fight card together:
