Andre Pederneiras: Federal Authorities Should Investigate MMA Judges

Following multiple recent judging controversies, Nova Uniao head coach Andre Pederneiras talked exclusively with Sherdog’s Marcelo Alonso in Rio de Janeiro and stated that law enforcement should actively investigate mixed martial arts judges.

“I can see bad intentions in some judges. Imagine how much money a bad intentioned judge could make?” said Pederneiras.

Pederneiras also shares his opinion about Glover Teixeira vs. Jamahal Hill and provided details about Jose Aldo’s boxing debut.

“It’s going to be in February against a foreigner here in Rio in Upper Arena. But that’s just the first step, we have something really big planned for him…”
