SDS: Apple and Condit Discuss WEC Fights

After experiencing some technical difficulties Sherdog.com's Greg Savage and Jeff Sherwood were on live for about an hour for another edition of "The Savage Dog Show." Joining them were Erik Apple (Pictures) and Carlos Condit (Pictures).

Condit made a name for himself last year when he made it to the finals of the Rumble on the Rock tournament. Defeating Frank Trigg (Pictures) in the semifinals, Condit came up short in the finals losing to Jake Shields (Pictures). The Albuquerque-based welterweight gets another shot at gold when he faces John Alessio (Pictures) Saturday in Las Vegas. Condit talks about training for Alessio, fighting in the WEC, and training with his team Fit NHB.

Erik Apple (Pictures) has an undefeated record. Fighting out of the Marco Ruas (Pictures) camp, Apple is stepping up in competition this weekend when he fights UFC veteran Brock Larson in the WEC. Apple talks about fighting the tough Minnesotan, stepping up in competition, and his other ventures outside mixed martial arts.
