Beatdown: Cesar Gracie and Javier Mendez

TJ De Santis and Sherdog.com editor Josh Gross are back for another live edition of "Beatdown" on The Sherdog Radio Network. Joining them were trainers Javier Mendez and Cesar Gracie (Pictures).

Nick Diaz (Pictures) shocked a lot of people in his last fight by defeating PRIDE lightweight champion Takanori Gomi (Pictures) by gogoplata. However, the win has been ruled a no contest by the Neveda State Athletic Commision due to Diaz's post fight drug test which showed banned substances. Cesar talks about the hearing and decision of the NSAC, how Diaz is responding, and what is next in their possible appeal process.

Javier Mendez is one of the main trainers in Fresno, California at The American Kickboxing Academy. Mendez was in the corner of welterweight contender Josh Koscheck (Pictures) Saturday night when he defeated Diego Sanchez (Pictures) by unanimous decision.
