WHAT STARTED AS A HIGH SCHOOL PROJECT HAS ENDED IN A TITLE SHOT

(PRESS RELEASE) -- A high school senior project became a blessing in disguise for MMA fighter Auttumn Norton. In California, part of the requirement for graduation is that you have to complete a senior project. In this particular case, the assignment was to pick a career, learn a lot about it, and do a presentation in front of school administrators. Norton has always been an athlete her entire life and thought she would do hers on MMA. It turned out that she loved it! It’s now two years later and she is being flown out to Memphis, TN to fight for the most prestigious women’s amateur bantamweight title in the world when she takes on V3Fights’ champion, Amberlynn Orr.

Norton is currently 5-1 and trains out of Iron Horse Gym in Susanville, CA. On June 21, she will have the biggest fight of her career when she travels to Memphis, TN to take on a very dangerous fighter in champion, Amberlynn Orr. When asked about this fight, here is what Norton had to say:

“I think this fight will do great things for both of our careers. One of us is going to win and one of us is going to learn. I think Amberlynn is a tough opponent and a great athlete. I don’t mind stepping into enemy territory, I’ve been in that situation before. I really wanted this fight because I know V3 is an amazing show and Memphis is beautiful. A lot of my recent fights have been falling out so I think this is a great opportunity. I want to thank V3Fights! I can’t wait to come to Memphis!”

In a night filled with the top fighters from the southeast region competing against one another, the fighter from the west coast may be the one leaving with V3 gold!
