This Saturday night all sports fans are invited to UFC 62: LIDDELL
vs. SOBRAL party at CHAMPPS Aspen Grove hosted by RING OF FIRE.
Chuck 'Iceman' Liddell returns to the Octagon to defend his coveted World Light Heavyweight Title against the number one contender Renato 'Babalu' Sobral.
Babalu has been undefeated for the last four years, his last loss
would be the same champion he will face off with in UFC 62, no
other than Chuck "iceman" Liddell. After a previous loss to Liddell
nearly four years ago, Babalu has maintained an incredible
undefeated record in the Octagon and has climbed his way back to
the top of UFC’s Light Heavyweight Division.
Liddell is at the top of his game, and he is perhaps rightly considered by many to be the favorite to win at UFC 62, but many are far too quick to write off Renato "Babalu" Sobral. Sobral's particular combination of wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has put him firmly on a winning streak. The 6 ft. 1 in., 205 lb. "Babalu" has won his last ten consecutive matches, and has not lost since 2002 - to Chuck Liddell (Pictures), via KO (Head Kick) at 2:55 into round 1, at UFC 40-Vendetta.

The RING OF FIRE UFC 62 Party will be at a new location. For the
past three years all the ROF-UFC ppv events have been held at Red &
Jerrys. ROF was informed this week that Red & Jerrys will now
expect MMA fans to pay a cover charge to watch the event. ROF did
not want it's fans and sponsors to have to pay a fee, so we have
decided to move the party to CHAMPPS SPORTS BAR located just south
on Santa Fe. The UFC 62 event will be shown free of charge to all
ROF/MMA fans.
