Saturday, Aug. 23 at BOK Center with an action-packed card
headlined by a five-round lightweight main event between former UFC
champion Benson
Henderson and surging contender Rafael dos
Anjos. The UFC’s previous trip to Tulsa took place on Dec. 16,
1994, as Royce Gracie
defeated Dan
Severn.
Henderson (21-3, fighting out of Glendale, Ariz.) returns to the Octagon® following an impressive fourth-round submission victory over Rustam Khabilov. Boasting victories over Evan Dunham, Donald Cerrone, and Jason High, dos Anjos (21-7, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) knows that a decisive win over a former champion in Henderson is his ticket to a shot at the title.
