Holly Holm Discusses Her Crushing Defeat of Ronda Rousey on AXS TV's 'Inside MMA Special Edition: Holly Holm'

(PRESS RELEASE) -- LOS ANGELES – AXS TV dedicated tonight’s episode of INSIDE MMA to exploring everything you need to know about newly crowned UFC Bantamweight Champion Holly Holm and her crushing defeat of Ronda Rousey. Headlining the special edition, Holm herself joined the show for an interview with series hosts Kenny Rice and Bas Rutten.

During the extended interview, Holm shared intimate details from her first conversation after winning the belt, explained why she has been defending Rousey against critics, and discussed if she thinks Rousey should get an immediate rematch and more:

Meanwhile, INSIDE MMA correspondent Ron Kruck reported from Holm’s hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico where he sat down with her coaches Greg Jackson and Mike Winkeljohn, who have trained Holm for nearly two decades, to discuss her rise to the top of women’s boxing and MMA, how she prepared to face Rousey, and the impact her feat will have on the sport:

Main Event – Welterweight (142 pounds) fight – Nick Chasteen (5-1) defeated Turan Hassanov (15-8-1) via TKO at 0:25 in round three.

Co-Main Event – Super Bantamweight (122 pounds) fight – John Nofer (7-1) defeated Victor Saravia (4-1) via unanimous decision (48-47, 48-47, 49-47).

Middleweight (160 pounds) fight – Josh Shepard (5-1) defeated Ben Peak (10-4) via unanimous decision (49-46, 48-47, 48-47).

Lightweight (135 pounds) – Julio Pena (4-0) defeated Tim Amorim (1-3) via KO (spinning back elbow) at 2:59 in round three.

Welterweight (142 pounds) – Pedro Gonzalez (3-1) defeated Sean Fagan (0-2) via unanimous decision (49-45, 49-45, 49-45).
