Fight Club OC Title Bout Featured on June 19th Show

(PRESS RELEASE) -- It is about time that Fight Club OC held their first Championship Title Fight, and on Thursday, June 19th in The Hangar at the OC Fair & Event Center it will finally happen. Undefeated and FCOC favorite 5-0 Curtis Millender will face by far his toughest opponent in middleweight Dominic Waters out of Santa Rosa.

But wait, besides the title bout, Fight Club OC matchmakers Whit Haydon and Mel Valenzuela have put together another solid card featuring four pro boxing bouts and three pro mixed martial arts bouts......what an evening of combative sports action and all for only $55 a ticket! Sukrab Shideav 12-0 vs. Angel Hernandez 15-13

The boxing action will feature two solid prospects with one being Ukraine's 12-0 Sukhab Shideav training out of Wild Card Gym facing veteran Angel Hernandez. Shideav who fights like Mike Tyson and is a human wrecking ball, has scored nine knockout in his 12 straight wins and will be in tough in this eight round featured bout. Ronnie Austion 4-0 vs. Arquimedez Garcia 2-1

NFL star Antonio Gates has gotten into the boxing management business, and his first signee will be on display on June 19th, as Detroit's 4-0 Ronny Austion is tentative set to face Santa Ana's 2-1 Arquimidez Garcia a former Battle In The Ballroom fan favorite with his non stop style and willingness to push the fight. Austion is in the mold of other great boxers who have come out of the Motor City and FCOC fans will like what they see. Daniel Kim 1-1 vs. Sopaun Rin 0-1

FCOC fans will see the return of UCI grad Daniel Kim who looks for his second pro win facing Chino's Sopaun Rin in a lightweight four rounder. Kim was set to fight on April 17th's card but due to an eye injury Kim had to pull out of the fight. Ready and hungrier than ever Kim is looking for that big W and wants to show Fight Club OC fans that he is a force to be reckoned with. Jamie Robinson (Debut) vs. Cory Muldrew 1-6

In his pro debut, former four time Scottish Amateur Welterweight Champion and six time Scottish Schoolboy champion Jamie Robinson will be in action facing Cory Muldrew from Tuscon. Robinson is eager for his first professional win and can't wait to deliver a great show for his local fanbase.

Fight Club OC Welterweight Title Fight

Curtis Millender 5-0 vs. Dominic Waters 6-1

Curtis Millender has shown Fight Club OC fans from his previous fights that his time has come. Millender wants a title shot and on June 19th that time will come. Dominic Waters has answered the call and will be Millenders opponent on June 19th. Water's served one tour in Operation Iraqi Freedom, and was a competitor on The Ultimate Fighter series, so when the dust clears come June 19th one will proudly wear the Inaugural Fight Club OC MMA Championship Belt. Fight Club OC fans were in awe on April 17th when Fullerton's Curtis Millender went toe to toe with John Mercurio in what some could call the MMA bout of the year, so fans can expect an even better war on the 19th with a belt now at stake. Steven Stryker 2-1 vs. Mario Delgado (Pro Debut)

Action continues as 2-1 Steven Stryker from Irvine returns to Fight Club OC to face Mario Delgado who will be looking for his first pro win in a welterweight bout that has the potential to be the fight of the night as Stryker has never disappointed Fight Club OC fans.

Yoko Hamamura 2-1 vs. Fernando Vargas 2-3

Ready to show fans just why they call him "Godzilla" Yoko Hamamura demolishes most anything that gets in his way. Fernando Vargas from Mexico City now stands in Hamamura's way. Vargas at 2-3 believes he can stop what some call the impossible.
