Chris Weidman Reflects on Losing His Belt and Teases Potential Rematch in Early Summer on "Inside MMA"

(PRESS RELEASE) – LOS ANGELES – Former UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman sat down with INSIDE MMA Correspondent Ron Kruck tonight where he reflected on losing his title to newly crowned champion Luke Rockhold in December and detailed his plans to return to the octagon to take back the belt. In this clip, Weidman says he would like a rematch with Rockhold in early summer before he potentially fights in the UFC’s first ever New York event, which he thinks could happen later this year:

Super Lightweight (137 pound) Fight – Anvar Boynazarov (80-20-2) defeated Coke Chunhawat (150-29-3) via unanimous decision (49-46, 49-46, 49-46).

Lightweight (132 pound) Fight – Travis Clay (1-0) defeated Jared Papazian (0-1) via unanimous decision (48-46, 48-46, 48-46).
