Bas Rutten Has A Message for PED Users on "Inside MMA"

(PRESS RELEASE) -- LOS ANGELES – AXS TV’s INSIDE MMA took on the subject of performance-enhancing drugs (PED) tonight as series hosts Kenny Rice and Bas Rutten sat down with PED expert Dr. Don Catlin, and later in the episode Rutten shared his opinion on PEDs in MMA. Co-main event – Flyweight fight – Jason Sampson (12-1) defeated Joseph Sandoval (7-5) via TKO (strikes) at 1:36 in round one.

Bantamweight fight – Steven Peterson (12-4) defeated Caio Machado (5-2) via submission (guillotine choke) at 3:55 in round one.

Bantamweight fight – Augusto Mendes (4-0) defeated Evan Martinez (4-1) via TKO (strikes) at 3:26 in round two.

Middleweight fight – Charles Byrd (7-3) defeated Evan Thompson (5-2) via KO (Punch) 4:51 in round one.

Bantamweight fight – Eli Tamez (9-0) defeated Saul Elizondo (6-5) via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28).

Welterweight fight – Andrew Parker (6-0) defeated Bilal Williams (3-1) via submission (rear naked choke) at 4:53 in round one.

Next week, Lion Fight Muay Thai returns to AXS TV FIGHTS as reigning Lion Fight champion Jorina Baars puts her welterweight title on the line versus multiple world champion Chantal Ughi on Friday, February 20 at a special time, 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
