World Series of Fighting Adds Trio of Russian Prospects to Roster

Vagabov is 15-0.
World Series of Fighting has bolstered its talent pool with the signings of Vagab Vagabov, Magomed Bibulatov and Magomed Magomedov, the promotion announced on Wednesday. Debut dates for each fighter will be revealed soon. The aforementioned trio has yet to fight on U.S. soil.

“Over the last couple of years,” WSOF President Ray Sefo said in a release, “we have seen a tremendous amount of high-caliber talent being unearthed from Russia, and I am proud to say that WSOF has been pro-active and played a significant part in these discoveries, and will continue to search and sign the most promising talent from this part of the world as well as elsewhere around the globe.”

A 29-year-old native of Dagestan, Vagabov is unbeaten in 15 professional outings. The M-1 Global veteran has finished 11 of those triumphs inside the distance. Most recently, he stopped Chris Katanga in the second round at an event in Moscow. Vagabov is expected to compete at middleweight.

Bibulatov, meanwhile, is 9-0 since making his pro debut in 2013. The 26-year-old Chechen flyweight earned a first-round knockout of Eduardo Felipe in his last outing on March 14. Bibulatov has finished four of his wins by submission and one via knockout.

Nicknamed “Tiger,” Magomedov is a six-time M-1 veteran, including a unanimous decision victory over Paata Robakidze in his last outing. The Dagestani bantamweight is 10-1 in MMA, with seven of his triumphs coming inside the distance.
