UFC Fight Night Weigh-in Results: Lyoto Machida, Yoel Romero Hit Main-Event Marks

They are two of the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s upper-tier middleweights and they carry a sense of urgency with them. Neither man has time on his side.

Lyoto Machida checked in at 186 pounds ahead of his five-round clash with 2000 Olympic silver medalist Yoel Romero (186) in the UFC Fight Night “Machida vs. Romero” main event on Saturday at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Fla. Welterweight co-headliners Lorenz Larkin (170.5) and Santiago Ponzinibbio (170.5) also met their mandated weight requirements at Friday’s official weigh-in.
