UFC 303 Weigh-in Results: Title Fight Set, 1 Fighter Heavy

While it's not the Conor McGregor return that was originally planned, the Ultimate Fighting Championship made the most of a bad situation.

The replacement UFC 303 main event is a good one as Alex Pereira will put his belt on the line against former titleholder Jiri Prochazka. Both men successfully made weight for the rematch of their highly entertaining 2023 fight, which saw the Brazilian claim his second UFC belt. As for the rest of the card, all fighters made weight with the exception of Jean Silva, who came in 1.5 pounds over the featherweight limit for his fight against Charles Jourdain. As a result, Silva will be fined 20% of his purse.

Pereira (10-2) has become a fan-favorite for his vicious knockouts and willingness to fight anyone. Since moving to light heavyweight, "Poatan" has put together three straight wins over Jan Blachowicz, Prochazka and Jamahal Hill. In their first meeting, the talented Brazilian won the belt by using brutal elbows. Pereira stepped on the scale weighing 204.5 pounds.

Prochazka (30-4-1) will look to reclaim light heavyweight gold in the rematch. Since the first fight, "BJP" has only fought once, dispatching Aleksandar Rakic with punches. Pereira marks the lone UFC defeat on the Czech fighter's impressive resume. He previously claimed the title by submitting Glover Teixeira in a memorable back-and-forth fight. Prochazka also weighed in at 204.5 pounds.

UFC 303's main card will begin at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT on ESPN+ pay-per-view on Saturday. Prelims begin at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT on ESPN+ and UFC Fight Pass before moving to ESPN+ and ESPN at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
