‘The Ultimate Fighter Live’ Episode 6 Draws 1 Million Viewers to FX

The sixth episode of “The Ultimate Fighter Live” reached an average audience of 1 million viewers on Friday night, according to an industry source.

Though that figure was up slightly from the previous week’s season-low mark of 947,000 viewers, it was still the second-lowest rated show during the 15th season of “TUF.” The season high was set when 1.3 million people took in the premiere, which included 16 live fights.

Featuring bantamweight rivals Dominick Cruz and Urijah Faber as coaches, “TUF Live” is the first installment of the popular reality series to feature a live fight at the end of each show.

Episode five featured yet another first round matchup, as Team Faber’s Joe Proctor submitted Team Cruz’s Chris Tickle with a rear-naked choke at 4:42 of the opening frame -- the third consecutive win for Faber’s squad. Next week, Team Faber’s John Cofer will square off with Team Cruz’s Vinc Pichel at 10 p.m. ET on FX.
