Who Is GRABAKAs Takeshi Yamazaki And Why Is he Fighting In D.O.G.?
Final thoughts on Yamazaki
Masa Fukui Mar 9, 2005
The day after this interview session, GRABAKA sent five fighters to
PANCRASE show as I wrote. The results turned out one win, three
losses and one draw. It wasn’t a good night for GRABAKA at all.
After the show, Kazuo
Misaki, the only the winner of tonight from this team, talked
to the media at his post-fight interview.
“Even [though] I won by submission,” he said, “I’m not happy about the outcome of our team. I think now, we have to sit and talk with all the teammate, reset everything, and bring our path back on the right track. We can’t stop here, we need to progress infinitively.”
Great words from Kazuo
Misaki. I think I saw a bit of GRABAKA spirit in his words.
This guy definitely set his goal very high. And he steams out the
positive energy like he sweats.
Well, that’s all folks. I hope this interview gives you an idea of the Japanese fight scene. And if you have any guy who wants us to have an interview session with, drop me a line with the question that you want me to ask. Right now, I’m thinking about interviewing Kazuo Misaki. He’s a fun guy to talk with, especially a “boys talk.” But, I’ll try to answer your request as far as I live in Tokyo.
At last, thank you very much for GRABAKA Gym for cooperation. Also, thank you very much for PANCRASE organization, which treat us very nice at the show each every time. We’re looking forward to cover Spiral Tour this year.
Peace
P.S. Does anybody know who said, “Dude, close that door, Diego’s trying to sleep” in TUF episode 5? I’ve watched this show up to Episode 7, but that’s the best line I’ve caught so far.
