FORT COLLINS, Colo., March 17 — The Drunken Monkey Cantina seemed an appropriate St. Patrick’s Day setting to host the weigh-ins for Worldwide Fighting Championship’s “Final Countdown.” All fighters made weight, with the exception of no-show John Sargent. Sargent was scheduled to make his professional debut tomorrow night versus Jeff Barney.
Mixed martial art’s oldest fighter — 61-year-old Skip Hall — takes on younger, taller, and heavier Richard Dalton. Hall weighed-in at a ripped 208 pounds; Dalton was 207.8.
Other Weights:
Eric Heinz (175 lbs) vs. Brandon Melendez (Pictures) (177lbs.)
Joe Serna (185lbs.) vs. Robert Maldonado (180lbs.)
Jeff Barney (163.4 lbs.) vs. John Sargent (weight not available at press time)
Weights were taken from a WFC press release.
