The Ultimate Fighting Championship on Saturday returned to Fortaleza, Brazil, where it put two of the sport’s most accomplished knockout artists on display in front of adoring fans. The song choices from the fighters on the UFC Fight Night 106 roster helped bring the atmosphere to a boil at the Olympic Training Center.

Vitor Belfort went with what has become a staple at UFC events -- Jorge Quintero’s “300 Violin Orchestra” -- as he tried to turn back the clock and snap a two-fight losing streak in the headliner. Opponent Kelvin Gastelum turned to the Charlie Brown Jr. track “O Coro Vai Comer” for inspiration. Meanwhile, Mauricio Rua chose Armin Van Buren’s “Sail” ahead of his co-main event clash with Gian Villante, who settled on Johnny Cash’s “God’s Gonna Cut You Down” to trumpet his arrival.

Other standout tracks included Motley Crue’s “Shout at the Devil” (Ray Borg), Roy Jones Jr.’s “Can’t Be Touched” (Francisco Trinaldo), AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” (Garreth McLellan), DMX’s “Slippin’” (Tim Means), Skip Marley’s “Lions” (Joshua Burkman), Tee Grizzly’s “First Day Out” (Kevin Lee), David Guetta’s “Titanium” (Bethe Correia) and Pharrell Williams’ “Happy” (Sergio Moraes).
