The Ultimate Fighting Championship is back in New Jersey this Saturday Aug. 3 for UFC on ESPN 5.

In the main event former interim welterweight champion Colby Covington will take on the former welterweight champion Robbie Lawler. “Chaos” last fought at UFC 225 in June 2018 where he beat Rafael dos Anjos to win the interim title and has been waiting for a title shot that never materialized. Meanwhile, “Ruthless” is on a two-fight losing streak after a controversial submission defeat to Ben Askren.

UFC on ESPN 5 airs in its entirety on ESPN. The main card begins at 3 p.m. ET and the prelims at 12 p.m. ET. Why this card is an afternoon card is because originally this event was expected to happen in Russia and ESPN had the time slot booked already.
