Vettori, 29, has won seven of his past nine bouts. The Kings MMA rep last appeared at UFC 286, where he outpointed Roman Dolidze to a three-round unanimous decision on March 18. Vettori owns a 9-4-1 record inside the Octagon. Cannonier, meanwhile, has rattled off six victories in eight outings. The 39-year-old MMA Lab product last competed on Dec. 17, when he was awarded a split verdict over Sean Strickland at UFC Fight Night 216. Cannonier has compiled a 9-6 mark as a member of the UFC roster.
UFC on ESPN “Vettori vs. Cannonier” also features a middleweight showcase slotting Christian Leroy Duncan (-155) opposite Armen Petrosyan (+125), a featherweight tilt matching Pat Sabatini (-210) with Lucas Almeida (+165), a lightweight clash pitting Manuel Torres (-190) against Nikolas Motta (+155) and a welterweight scrap pairing Muslim Salikhov (-190) with Nicolas Dalby (+155).
