When Brian Ortega meets Chan Sung Jung in the UFC Fight Night 180 headliner on Saturday at the Flash Forum in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, the five-round affair could determine the identity of the next No. 1 contender for the undisputed Ultimate Fighting Championship featherweight crown. At the very least, reigning champion Alexander Volkanovski figures to have a vested interest in the proceedings.

Ortega will return to the cage for the first time since he suffered his first professional setback—a fourth-round technical knockout loss to Max Holloway at UFC 231 nearly two years ago. The longtime Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt remains one of the sport’s most feared grapplers, with seven of his 14 career wins having resulted in submissions. Jung, meanwhile, will enter the Octagon on the strength of back-to-back victories over Renato Carneiro and Frankie Edgar. “The Korean Zombie” owns a 6-2 record in the UFC, having lost only to Jose Aldo and Yair Rodriguez.

UFC Fight Night “Ortega vs. Korean Zombie”—which streams live to ESPN+ at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT—also features a women’s co-main event matching Jessica Andrade with Katlyn Chookagian, a light heavyweight clash pitting Jimmy Crute against Modestas Bukauskas and a welterweight tilt pairing Claudio Henrique da Silva with James Krause. ESPN+ will also carry the entire undercard at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT, the six-fight slate anchored by a lightweight confrontation between Mateusz Gamrot and Guram Kutateladze.
