Pereira, 37, has established himself as a true box-office attraction for the UFC. The Teixeira MMA rep has rattled off four consecutive victories, three of them finishes. Pereira last suited up on June 29, when he buried Jiri Prochazka with a head kick and follow-up punches in the second round of their UFC 303 rematch. Rountree, meanwhile, finds himself on a career-best five-fight winning streak. The 34-year-old Los Angeles native last saw action at UFC Fight Night 233, where he put away Anthony Smith punches in the third round of their Dec. 9 encounter.
UFC 307 also features a bantamweight showcase pairing Mario Bautista (-145) with Jose Aldo (+115), a women’s bantamweight affair pitting Kayla Harrison (-1200) against Ketlen Vieira (+650) and a middleweight tilt matching Kevin Holland (-155) with Roman Dolidze (+125).
