How to Watch UFC 301

The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s visit to Rio de Janeiro this Saturday marks the 11th time a UFC title has been on the line in the vibrant Brazilian city.

UFC 301 packs a power punch atop the bill, as Alexandre Pantoja will attempt to defend his flyweight crown against surging prospect Steve Erceg in the five-round main event. Having dethroned Brandon Moreno in July, Pantoja retained the championship with a unanimous decision over Brandon Royval five months later. On the flipside, Erceg has put together a 3-0 run in the promotion and nailed down his shot at the title with a second-round knockout of Matt Schnell in March. Adding to the drama, both men enter the cage on lengthy winning streaks—Pantoja at five, Erceg at 11.

Meanwhile, Octagon legend Jose Aldo suits up for co-headlining duties against Jonathan Martinez in his first appearance since he retired in August 2022. One of the greatest featherweight champions of all-time, Aldo put his title on the line four times in Rio de Janeiro and authored some of the organization’s most memorable moments in Brazil.

Further down the main draw, Anthony Smith squares off with Vitor Petrino in a light heavyweight showcase that could reconfigure the 205-pound rankings.
