The Professional Fighters League will enter the home stretch of its 2024 campaign with PFL 9 this Friday at the Anthem in Washington, D.C., where semifinalists in the featherweight and welterweight divisions are set to pen the next chapters in the promotion’s postseason story. Brendan Loughnane, the top seed at 145 pounds, continues his pursuit of a second PFL championship in three years in the headliner, where Hawaiian dark horse Kai Kamaka III awaits.

PFL 9—which airs live on ESPN at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT—also features a welterweight semifinal pitting Magomed Umalatov against Neiman Gracie in the co-main event, along with the other featherweight semifinal matching Gabriel Braga with Timur Khizriev and the remaining welterweight semifinal slotting Shamil Musaev opposite Murad Ramazanov. The undercard streams to ESPN+ at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT, with a welterweight tilt between two-time PFL champion Ray Cooper III and former Absolute Championship Berkut titleholder Mukhamed Berkhamov anchoring the preliminary draw.
