By the Numbers: UFC on Fox 17

Rafael dos Anjos just keeps raising the bar in what is arguably the sport’s most dangerous division.

Some nine months after completely dominating Anthony Pettis to capture lightweight gold, dos Anjos truly made the 155-pound belt his own with a first-round technical knockout victory over Donald Cerrone in the UFC on Fox 17 headliner in Orlando on Saturday night. Cerrone, who saw an eight-fight winning streak come to an end, never had a chance to get going.

The stat sheet backs it up: dos Anjos is the unquestioned lightweight king and one of the top pound-for-pound talents in mixed martial arts today. Here is a by-the-numbers look at UFC on Fox 17, with statistics courtesy of FightMetric.com.
