Francis Ngannou is back in business.

7: Heavyweight victories in UFC competition for Ngannou. That ranks as the second most in the division since 2015 behind only Derrick Lewis, who has 10. Former champion Stipe Miocic is third with six wins. All seven of Ngannou’s triumphs have come inside the distance.
13: Significant strikes landed by Ngannou in the 45-second affair. An overhand right dropped Blaydes in an initial exchange, and from there, “The Predator” sealed the victory with a series of follow-up punches as his foe attempted to regain his bearings.
11: Significant strikes landed by Ngannou against Lewis in a lackluster three-round, 15-minute bout at UFC 226 on July 7. In that decision defeat, Ngannou was heavily criticized for his unwillingness to pull the trigger.
12: Significant ground strikes landed by Alistair Overeem in a first-round stoppage of Sergei Pavlovich in the heavyweight co-main event. “The Reem” finished the Octagon newcomer with a vicious barrage of punches and hammerfists on the mat at the 4:21 mark of round one. Overeem landed 22 total significant strikes in the bout, connecting at an 84 percent success rate.
5: KO/TKO victories in UFC competition for Jingliang Li, tying him with Santiago Ponzinibbio and Neil Magny for the most such victories in the welterweight division since 2014. “The Leech” knocked out David Zwada with a kick to the body at the 4:07 mark of round three.
89: Significant strikes landed by Li, the second-most of his 11-bout UFC tenure. By comparison, Zawada landed 73.
18: Consecutive professional victories for Weili Zhang, including two in the UFC. The 29-year-old known as “Magnum” earned her most significant triumph to date at UFC Fight Night 141, as she submitted former World Series of Fighting champion Jessica Aguilar with an armbar at the 3:41 mark of round one.
16: Finishes among those 18 victories for Zhang, who has gone the distance three times (two wins, one loss) since beginning her professional tenure in 2013.
4,662: Days since Aguilar was last finished in MMA competition prior to facing Zhang. In her professional debut, “Jag” tapped to a rear-naked choke from Lisa Ellis at Absolute Fighting Championships 15 on Feb. 18, 2006. After that, her next five defeats were either via decision or split decision.
100: Significant strikes landed by Martin Day in a split-decision loss to Pingyuan Liu at bantamweight. By comparison, Liu landed 55.
8: Unofficial media scorecards, of the 13 tracked by MMADecisions.com, that awarded the bout to Day. Four others saw it for Liu, while another scored the 135-pound contest a draw. Meanwhile, cageside judges Mark Craig and Garth Harriman submitted 29-28 scorecards in favor of Liu to give the Chinese fighter a split-decision win. A third judge, Barry Foley, had the fight 29-28 in favor of Day.
3: Consecutive victories for Xiaonan Yan, tying her with Rose Namajunas, J.J. Aldrich, Jessica Andrade and Nina Ansaroff for the second-longest active winning streak in the strawweight division. Tatiana Suarez holds the longest active winning streak with four straight triumphs. Yan outpointed Syuri Kondo on Saturday.
150: Significant strikes landed by Yan, the most of anyone at UFC Fight Night 141. More notably, that figure is the fifth-most landed by anyone in a women’s 115-pound bout in UFC history. Former champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk holds the top four positions, all of which occurred in five-round contests.
72: Significant strikes by which Kevin Holland outlanded John Phillips en route to a third-round submission victory in their middleweight bout. The Contender Series alum outlanded his foe 60 to 12 in round one, 49 to 38 in round two and 14 to 1 in round three. Holland also held a 164-to-53 advantage in total strikes landed.
.650: Significant striking accuracy for Holland, who landed 123 of 187 attempts. By comparison, Phillips landed 51 of 154 significant strikes, a 33 percent clip.
5: Takedowns landed in six attempts by Holland. That is the most of anyone at UFC Fight Night 141.
