By the Numbers: Randy Brown vs. Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos

It has been more than eight years since Ultimate Fighting Championship welterweight mainstay Randy Brown made his first Octagon walk as a surging 25-year-old prospect. He carried an undefeated 6-0 record into the Las Vegas-based promotion, having compiled it during his run in the Ring of Combat promotion, where he captured the 170-pound gold in the process. Today, “Rude Boy” has fought 17 times in the UFC, going 12-5 with notable victories over the likes of Bryan Barberena, Kalinn Williams and Muslim Salikhov.

Brown will face Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos in a UFC 302 welterweight showcase on June 1 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Zaleski dos Santos has always been a must-see attraction in the UFC, owing to his violent, fan-friendly style. It has earned him “Fight of the Night” honors on three occasions, as he put forth memorable performances against Omari Akhmedov, Lyman Good and Max Griffin. Coming off of a majority draw with Rinat Fakhretdinov, Zaleski dos Santos figures to be keen on putting his name back in the win column at Brown’s expense.
