By The Numbers: William Gomis vs. Jarno Errens

Having pursued the kind of intercontinental exposure upon which the Ultimate Fighting Championship empire was built, William Gomis and Jarno Errens will make their Octagon debuts opposite one another in a UFC Fight Night 209 featherweight showcase on Saturday at Accor Arena in Paris.

Gomis heads into the match on an eight-fight winning streak that spans nearly six years. The MMA Factory rep last appeared at Ares Fighting Championship 7, where he disposed of Jose Marcos Lima Santiago Jr. with punches in the third round of their June 25 pairing. Errens, meanwhile, has rattled off five wins across his past seven outings. He last competed on Aug. 6, when he laid claim to a unanimous decision over Alisher Abdulloev at Brave Combat Federation 61.

As Gomis and Errens approach their forthcoming battle at 145 pounds, a look at some of the numbers that have accompanied them to this point:

25: Years of age for Gomis, who was born in Montivilliers, France on June 13, 1997.

6: Gomis wins by knockout or technical knockout, accounting for 60% of his career total (10). His list of victims includes Arip Yakubov, Hyram Rodriguez and Guilherme Cadena Martins. Gomis owns one other win by submission (10%) and three others by decision (30%).
