The identity of the next No. 1 contender in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s light heavyweight division could be revealed when Thiago Santos meets Glover Teixeira in the UFC Fight Night 182 headliner on Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Jan Blachowicz’s rise to the top of the 205-pound weight class breathed new life into the title aspirations of the two men, both of whom tried and failed to dethrone former champion Jon Jones.

As Santos and Teixeira draw ever closer to their five-round showdown, a look at some of the numbers that have accompanied them to this point:

36: Years of age for Santos, who was born in Rio de Janeiro on Jan. 7, 1984.

15: Santos wins by knockout or technical knockout, providing him with 71% of his professional total (21). His list of victims includes Blachowicz, Jimi Manuwa, Anthony Smith, Jack Hermansson and Nate Marquardt. Santos has but one victory by submission—a rear-naked choke stoppage of Eneas Souza in 2011.

12: Knockdowns landed by Santos as a member of the UFC roster, placing him eighth among active fighters. Only Donald Cerrone (20), Anderson Silva (18), Jeremy Stephens (18), Mauricio Rua (14), Junior dos Santos (14), Edson Barboza (13) and Conor McGregor (13) have more.

2: Submission defeats on the Santos resume. He surrendered to a Cezar Ferreira guillotine choke at UFC 163 in August 2013 and tapped to a rear-naked choke from Eric Spicely at UFC Fight Night 95 in September 2016.

6: Post-fight bonuses banked by Santos across his 19 appearances in the UFC. He has been awarded “Performance of the Night” four times and “Fight of the Night” twice, resulting in $300,000 of additional income.

41: Years of age for Teixeira, who was born on Oct. 28, 1979 in Sobralia, Brazil.

.774: Cumulative winning percentage between the seven men—Jones, Corey Anderson, Alexander Gustafsson, Anthony Johnson, Phil Davis, Ed Herman and Eric Schwartz—who have beaten Teixeira. They own a combined record of 130-38.

8: Teixeira victories by submission, accounting for 26% of his career total (31). All eight involved attacks on the neck. His methods of choice: four rear-naked chokes, two arm-triangle chokes and two guillotines. Teixeira has 18 other wins by knockout or technical knockout.

3: Wins over former UFC champions on the Teixeira ledger. He struck Ricco Rodriguez into submission at an MMA Against Dengue event on Nov. 27, 2011, took a unanimous decision from Quinton Jackson at UFC on Fox 6 on Jan. 26, 2013 and punched out Rashad Evans in the UFC on Fox 19 main event on April 16, 2016.

11: Teixeira finishes as a UFC light heavyweight, tying him with Ovince St. Preux for most on the promotion’s all-time list at 205 pounds. Jones (10), Chuck Liddell (nine) and Rua (eight) round out the Top 5.
