All indications point to Dan Ige facing another uphill climb, not that the scrappy, battle-hardened Hawaiian would want it any other way.

The Dana White’s Contender Series graduate will tackle undefeated former M-1 Global champion Movsar Evloev in the UFC Fight Night 207 co-headliner on Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Ige finds himself on the rebound following back-to-back losses, desperately trying to avoid another setback in a deep featherweight division. The Xtreme Couture rep last competed at UFC 269, where he wound up on the wrong side of a unanimous decision against Josh Emmett on Dec. 11. Evloev, meanwhile, continues to surge toward a position of prominence at 145 pounds. The American Top Team standout last fought on June 12, when he laid claim to a unanimous verdict over Hakeem Dawodu at UFC 263.

As Ige and Evloev inch ever closer to their high-stakes showdown, a look at some of the numbers that have accompanied them to this point:

28: Years of age for Evloev, who was born on Feb. 11, 1994 in Sunzha, Russia.

4: Evloev victories by submission, accounting for 27% of his career total (15). All four resulted in rear-naked chokes. Evloev holds three other victories by knockout or technical knockout and eight more by decision.
