Michael Page has been something of a phenomenon for Bellator MMA, but he has yet to fully catch on with fans -- either because of his antics or because critics question his level of competition. That latter perception could change when he meets Paul Daley in the Bellator welterweight grand prix quarterfinals at Bellator 216 on Feb. 16.

As the MMA world sets its sights on their anticipated showdown, here are some of the numbers that have come to define Page at this point in his career:

3: Years old when he started training Lau Gar kung fu. Page moved into martial arts early because his parents were both practitioners, and his father was his first instructor. Later on, he was introduced to kickboxing and entered his first competition at the age of 5, and when he was 8, he competed internationally for the first time in Germany.

10: World championships won in kickboxing. His first was at the United States Open International Sport Karate Association World Martial Arts Championships in 1998, which he entered at only 12 years old. The following year, he began entering adult competitions.

1: Round to impress in his MMA debut. In fact, Page only required 65 seconds to dispose of Ben Dishman via tornado kick at Ultimate Challenge MMA 26 “The Real Deal.” He drew immediate comparisons to former Ultimate Fighting Championship middleweight titleholder Anderson Silva.

10: Seconds needed to finish Ryan Sanders in his promotional debut at Bellator 93. Page caught the advancing Sanders with a straight right, stopped him in his tracks and finished him there.

9: Stoppages in the first round. Page has a penchant for finishing fights early. His victims were Dishman, Sanders, Miguel Bernard, Haitham El-Sayed, Ramdan Mohamed, Ricky Rainey, Rudy Bears, Charlie Ontiveros and Jeremie Holloway.

2: Decision victories to his name. Page went the distance only twice in his career -- against Nah-Shon Burrell at Bellator 128 and against Fernando Gonzalez at Bellator 165.

2: Divisions in which he has fought. Apart from a catchweight bout early in his career where his opponent missed weight, Page has competed as a middleweight and welterweight.

1: Professional kickboxing match on his resume. Page undertook an active campaign in 2012. In addition to taking three mixed martial arts fights, he also engaged in one kickboxing bout and defeated Jefferson George by second-round knockout.

2: Professional boxing matches on his ledger. Page tried his hand at boxing after his split decision victory over Gonzalez in MMA. Both his fights ended before the final bell. He was even expected to fight on the undercard of David Haye-Tony Bellew 2, but Bellator officials prevented him from doing so because of its close proximity to Bellator 200.

3: Wins by submission. While Page is known for his striking arsenal, he has also proven dangerous on the ground, having garnered victories by armbar, rear-naked choke and Achilles lock.
