By The Numbers: Gilbert Burns vs. Khamzat Chimaev

No one expects Gilbert Burns to be blinded by the hype.

The onetime Ultimate Fighting Championship welterweight title challenger will take on the undefeated Khamzat Chimaev in a three-round UFC 273 showcase on Saturday at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida. Burns has compiled a stellar 13-4 record inside the Octagon. He last appeared on July 10, when he outpointed Stephen Thompson at UFC 264. Chimaev, meanwhile, has become one of the most-debated and talked-about fighters in the sport. He has not competed since he put Jingliang Li to sleep with a rear-naked choke in the first round of their UFC 267 pairing on Oct. 30.
