By The Numbers: Daniel Rutkowski vs. Patryk Kaczmarczyk
As part of a line that has formed behind reigning Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki featherweight champion Salahdine Parnasse, it stood to reason that Daniel Rutkowski and Patryk Kaczmarczyk would someday run into one another.
The Polish hopefuls will square off in the KSW 88 headliner on Saturday at RCS Hall in Radom, Poland, where the promotion’s 145-pound pecking order could conceivably be reshaped by the outcome. Rutkowski enters the match on a three-fight winning streak. He last competed on June 3, when he took a three-round unanimous decision from Adam Soldaev in their KSW 83 pairing. Kaczmarczyk, meanwhile, has rattled off back-to-back victories. He last appeared at KSW 85, where he was awarded a unanimous verdict over Daniel Tarchila in their three-round battle on Aug. 19.
