By The Numbers: Ciryl Gane vs. Sergey Spivak

Ciryl Gane must now go about rebuilding himself as a viable title contender in the Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight division.

“Bon Gamin” will attempt to rebound from his second defeat in three outings when he faces Sergey Spivak in the UFC Fight Night 226 main event on Saturday at Accor Arena in Paris. Gane carries an 8-2 record across his 10 assignments inside the Octagon. He last appeared at UFC 285, where he submitted to a first-round guillotine choke from Jon Jones in a March 4 showdown to unify the heavyweight championship. Spivak, meanwhile, steps into the cage on the strength of a three-fight winning streak. He last competed on Feb. 4, when he subdued Derrick Lewis with an arm-triangle choke in the first round of their UFC Fight Night 218 pairing.
