By The Numbers: Chidi Njokuani vs. Gregory Rodrigues

Gregory Rodrigues appears to have all the weaponry necessary to make inroads within the Ultimate Fighting Championship middleweight division.

The former Legacy Fighting Alliance titleholder will draw his most significant assignment so far when he faces Chidi Njokuani in the UFC Fight Night 210 co-headliner on Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Rodrigues enters the Octagon having rattled off five victories across his past six outings. “RoboCop” last appeared at UFC on ESPN 37, where he punched out Julian Marquez a little more than three minutes into their June 18 pairing. Njokuani, meanwhile, enters the cage on the strength of a four-fight winning streak. He last competed on May 21, when he chopped down Dusko Todorovic with an elbow strike in the first round of their UFC Fight Night 206 encounter.

As Rodrigues and Njokuani inch ever closer to their forthcoming battle at 185 pounds, a look at some of the numbers that have accompanied them to this point:

33: Years of age for Njokuani, who was born in Dallas on Dec. 31, 1988.
