Three’s company—except for Brandon Moreno and Deiveson Figueiredo.

The two rivals will complete their trilogy when Moreno defends the undisputed Ultimate Fighting Championship flyweight crown against Figueiredo in the UFC 270 co-headliner on Saturday at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Their two previous meetings resulted in a majority draw at UFC 256 on Dec. 12, 2020 and a third-round rear-naked choke submission for Moreno at UFC 263 on June 12. Neither man has fought since their rematch.

As Moreno and Figueiredo moved ever closer to their definitive battle, a look at some of the numbers that have accompanied them to this point:

28: Years of age for Moreno, who was born in Tijuana, Mexico, on Dec. 7, 1993.

11: Moreno victories by submission, accounting for 58% of his career total (19). His methods of choice: six rear-naked chokes, two triangle chokes, two armbars and one guillotine choke. Moreno owns three other victories by knockout or technical knockout and five more by decision.

9: Figueiredo wins by knockout or technical knockout, accounting for 45% of his career total (20). His list of UFC victims: Joseph Benavidez, John Moraga, Joseph Morales and Marco Beltran. Figueiredo holds eight other wins by submission and three more by decision.
