If fear had a face, it might look a lot like Alex Pereira.

Armed with ferocious power, surgical precision and magnetic charisma, the reigning Ultimate Fighting Championship light heavyweight titleholder has established himself as a must-see attraction a little more than two years into his tenure with the company. The menacing 6-foot-4, 205-pound Brazilian now finds himself on a three-fight winning streak, his line of followers growing longer by the day. Pereira last fought in the UFC 300 headliner, where he cut down Dana White’s Contender Series graduate Jamahal Hill with punches 3:14 into their April 13 encounter to retain his light heavyweight championship.

36: Years of age for Pereira, who was born on July 7, 1987 in Sao Bernardo do Campo, Brazil—a city of some 800,000 people situated near the southeastern coast of the South American country.
