3. Ronda Rousey
In a couple of years, there is an excellent chance that Rousey will find herself atop this list. Although her film career has been brief, Rousey has already appeared in several major films, with more on the horizon.
Rousey’s film career has not included the kinds of B movies that appear so often for athletes-turned-entertainers. Her first film role came in the third installment of “The Expendables,” alongside the aforementioned Randy Couture and Sylvester Stallone, and her second star turn will be in the upcoming seventh iteration of “The Fast and the Furious,” with Vin Diesel and the late Paul Walker. Rousey will also appear in the soon-to-be-released “Entourage” movie, and there are rumors that she will film another movie after she fights Bethe Correia in Brazil this summer.
Given the intensity with which Rousey approaches everything in her life, we can only assume that her acting chops will soon catch up to the natural charisma she displays in interviews with such figures as Jimmy Kimmel and Conan O’Brien. Her future is certainly bright.
