Even as much of the MMA universe pities Kunitskaya, opportunity knocks. Justino remains one of the most dominant and secure champions in the sport ahead of her second defense of the UFC women’s featherweight title. “Cyborg” will enter the cage on a nine-fight winning streak that includes victories over Marloes Coenen, Charmaine Tweet, Leslie Smith, Tonya Evinger and Holly Holm. The Brazilian juggernaut has secured 16 of her 19 professional wins by knockout or technical knockout and has not lost a fight in nearly 13 years. Kunitskaya last appeared in August, when she took a five-round unanimous decision from Raquel Pa’aluhi and captured the vacant Invicta Fighting Championships bantamweight crown.
