3. Alistair Overeem vs. Brock Lesnar
UFC 141 “Lesnar vs. Overeem”
Dec. 30, 2011 | Las Vegas

In the fight that had Lesnar packing his bags for a return to World Wrestling Entertainment, Overeem demonstrated once again why he has long been considered one of the best pure strikers in the heavyweight division. Two minutes into their headliner, the Dutchman slammed a left knee into the former UFC champion’s abdomen. The strike ultimately led to the end of the fight.

Lesnar, who never seemed overly fond of getting hit, instantly retreated and gasped for air. Overeem sensed the end was near and thwacked his left shin into Lesnar’s liver. The hulking wrestler clutched his right side, scowled in anguished and dissolved into a pile of rubble along the fence. Overeem closed in and swarmed with punches until referee Mario Yamasaki came to the rescue. Lesnar has not competed in a real fight since.
