A hard-charging Askarov has signed on to make his stateside debut under the Titan Fighting Championship banner, the 24-year-old Russian prospect arriving on the scene with a perfect 9-0 record in tow. He wowed the masses in his most recent appearance, as he submitted Bellator and World Extreme Cagefighting veteran Anthony Leone with a third-round twister to retain the Absolute Championship Berkut flyweight title on April 22. Askarov also holds submission victories over Jose Maria Tome, Ruslan Abiltarov and Kirill Medvedovski. It goes without saying that Blair has his work cut out for him. The American Top Team-trained Hawaiian has compiled a 5-0 mark on the regional scene.
