Michael McDonald vs. Edwin Figueroa

The Pick: Figueroa steps in on a little more than a week’s notice for the injured Nick Pace. McDonald, one of the sport’s top prospects at 135 pounds, showed good composure in submitting Clint Godfrey at WEC 52 and holds other notable wins over Cole Escovedo -- who stopped him in their first matchup -- and Manny Tapia. Unbeaten in seven professional outings, Figueroa has finished all seven of his opponents, including Bellator Fighting Championships veteran Johnny Bedford.

Both men are willing to stand and slug, so this should be a barnburner while it lasts.

The Pick: McDonald by second-round submission.
