4. Stipe Miocic vs. Jon Jones
Miocic has slowly but surely started to earn the respect of the mixed martial arts community. The 34-year-old Strong Style Fight Team star struck heavyweight gold in May 2016, when he knocked two-time Abu Dhabi Combat Club Submission Wrestling World Championships gold medalist Fabricio Werdum unconscious with a crushing right hand. He has since successfully defended the title on two occasions, stopping Alistair Overeem and Junior dos Santos inside one round in consecutive appearances. During his current five-fight winning streak, Miocic has finished dos Santos, Overeem, Werdum, Andrei Arlovski and Mark Hunt -- a sustained run against top-flight opposition that gives him one of the best resumes in the heavyweight division. Jones, who seeks to reclaim the light heavyweight championship in a UFC 214 rematch with archrival Daniel Cormier, has long flirted with the idea of a move to heavyweight. The combat sports world can only hope.
