Feb. UFC Fight Night takes shape
Several reports this week gave shape to an expected Feb. 7 “UFC Fight Night” special on Spike TV. Ultimate Fighter 7 champion Amir Sadollah told iguillotine.com that he will make his UFC debut against Nick Catone on a yet-to-be-announced event. That bout was originally set for UFC 91, but Sadollah pulled out after contracting a leg infection that left him hospitalized. Also on that show, TUF 6 champion Mac Danzig is likely to face Josh Neer, according to a post on Danzig's MySpace page, and Joe Lauzon will face Hermes Franca, according to MMAJunkie.com. One fighter who won't find his way onto the card in Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou, who was released by the UFC this week following his recent loss to Luis Cane.
