The initial encounter between Rousey and Miesha Tate ended much like the second at UFC 168, aside from the fact that “Cupcake” left the rematch with her arm intact.
Tate came into the Strikeforce bout with the women’s bantamweight belt strapped to her waist, but “Rowdy” finished her foe with an armbar to claim the title. Rousey went on to finish three more bantamweights via armbar, including Tate for a second time in 2013. With a record of 10-0, Rousey continues to lay waste to everyone in the 135-pound division, largely due to her opponents’ inability to steer clear of her trademark maneuver.
